Gatherings is a project that focuses on stickers layered over graffiti and drawings covering both. These are dense palimpsests where voices collide. Each little mark insists on presence yet is immediately challenged, obscured, or echoed by the next. These surfaces become gatherings: chaotic and beautiful assemblies where a public forms, speaking over one another in fragments of image and text. Here, I photograph these restless accumulations, where Romans find themselves in conversation with themselves.
