For years, I have staged pop-up exhibitions in the streets of Rome and Toronto. They are nothing fancier than some prints, easels, and artist statements, but they bring my photographs back to the very streets where I created them. These exhibits also gather a crowd and spark conversations that are curious, layered, never finished. To show my work in public is to trust the city as a collaborator, letting images breathe beyond galleries and inviting dialogue in the very place where life unfolds.
